ECUST’s MBA Program was approved by the State Ministry of Education and Degree Committee of State Council in 1997, covering Marketing and Strategy, HR Management, Business Strategy and Decision-making, Logistics and Supply-chain Management, Project Management, MIS, Financial Market and Capital Market Management, Corporate Finance and Management, International Business, Foreign Trade and Business Law,etc.
Currently ECUST MBA Program offers both full time and part time studies on campus.
ECUST MBA Program features its Global MBA at ECUST and Project Management in Modern manufacturing Industry backed up by a strong teaching faculty in Management Science and Engineering, Business Administration and Applied Economics as well as ECUST’s advantageous disciplines in Chemical Engineering, Energy, Pharmaceuticals and Environment. It strives to build a Tech.-MBA brand that can best meet the demand of the international and domestic enterprises, and help the graduates to stay most competitive in the workplace.
ECUST MBA program puts weight on the theoretical courses in management and economics, which are well-balanced by practical and functional courses.
Another striking feature in ECUST MBA Development Plan lies in its global vision embodied in Global MBA at ECUST. Business English Teaching comprises hard skills (language knowledge) and soft skills (language skills).
The huge intakes of students are grouped into smaller classes at different levels. Currently, ECUST MBA boasts a strong and steady team of overseas lecturers and learned entrepreneurs, who can deliver over half of MBA courses in English.
Credits and Graduation Requirements
Full-time MBA study lasts for 2 years. Those who get enough required credits and pass the thesis defense will be awarded ECUST MBA degree.
International students can write thesis either in English or Chinese.
1. Bachelor Degree, working experience is preferred;
2. TOEFL (550/213, essay 4.5), IELTS (6.0), or equivalent English test (for non-native English speakers), or HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) level 5 or above.
3. Students are designed to take the part-time MBA while sit in a full-time Chinese language learning class, which is called, to Earn MBA while Learning Chinese at ECUST.
1. Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.
2. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
3. Bachelor's degree diploma
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
4. Transcript of undergraduate school
5. Health certificate(optional)
Photocopy of physical examination record.
6. Two recommendation letters(optional)
From professor,associate professor or equivalents.
7. Recommendation letter from employer
8. Personal Statement
Personal Statement with the applicant's signature, written in Chinese or in English.
