Inner-city Transport

Bus: Shenyang has an extensive bus system with more than 3,000 city buses running on over 140 lines for local communication. You can arrive at almost any place in Shenhe District, Huanggu, Tiexi, Heping and Dadong Districts by taking a city bus.

Subway: The subway line 1 of Shenyang has been put into use since September 27th, 2010. The line 1 consists of 22 stops with a 27.8 km journey from west Shenyang to the east part. The line 2 running North-South is currently under construction and is going to be put into use in 2012. The ticket fare is between 2-4 RMB depending on the distance.
