Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) Officially Opens for Online Application on SICAS

Wuhan University of Technology (WUT), is a prestigious university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education (MOE), has officially joined SICAS and is open for online admission to overseas students.

Situated in the largest city of Central China-Wuhan, Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) occupies a land area of 267 hectares with three main campuses. The university had its first enrollment of International students in 1952, and currently, there are more than 500 International students from over 100 countries.

WUT is well famous for numbers of academically accomplished scholars in economics architecture materials, transportation and auto industry, who hold high visibility and influence both at home and abroad. So far, WUT could confer 79 bachelor’s degree programs, 138 master’s degree programs, and 68 Ph.D. degree programs to International students. Master's and doctoral students can choose their major to be taught in English or Chinese language based on their own situations. Among them, Master and Doctoral English taught courses for Business Administration, International Trade, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industry Engineering and many other subjects are very popular among International students. As for the undergraduate students, The English taught undergraduate courses for business administration and industry engineering will be available start from Sep. 2012 according to the admission officer of WUT. Certainly, Chinese language courses and Pre-degree foundation courses are also hot cakes in WUT, and all the Chinese-taught degree programs could be applied without the HSK requirement.

-There are three types of scholarship of WUT: 1st, Government Scholarship offered by both Chinese and some foreign government .2nd, WUT Friendship Scholarship offered by the university itself. 3rd, SICAS & WUT Outstanding Student Scholarship offered by SICAS and WUT.
