The scholarship is devided into two categories: full scholarship and outstanding student award. (1) Full scholarship The full scholarship is designed for the students from ASEAN countries who are to study in the universities of Guangxi for bachelor's， master's or Phd degree. Recipients of the scholarship will enjoy exemption of such fees as for registration, tuition, textbooks and other teaching materials, accommodation, and insurance for diseases and accidents. In addition, they will also get living expense by month. (2) Outstanding student award The outstanding student award is given to the self-funded students from ASEAN countries who will receive their education in the universities of Guangxi for one year or longer, and is excellent both in moral character and study. |

Application Requirements: |
Please prepare the following documents before you apply any programs at Guangxi University online. 1. Applicants must be ASEAN countries citizens in good health. 2. Applicants must abide by the Chinese government’s laws, rules and regulations and school regulatory framework. 3. Scholarship for bachelor’s degree: applicants should have graduated from a senior high school and keep an outstanding academic record and aged below 25 years old. 4. Scholarship for Master’s dgree: applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, and an outstanding academic record. They must be recommended by two professors or associate professors, and aged under 35. 5. Scholarship for Phd dgree: applicants should have a Master’s degree, and an outstanding academic record. They must be recommended by two professors or associate professors, and aged under 40. 6. Besides the requirements above, applicants should also have a level of proficiency in Chinese needed for taking classes. For those whose Chinese does not meet the needs, they will be arranged to study in the Chinese language program for as long as one school year. All applicants must abide by the Chinese laws, regulations and rules of the univerities and be in a good health condition. 7. Applicants must adhere to the university’s rules and regulations and demonstrate high academic achievement. |

1. The scholarship quotas are distributed by the relevant department of Guangxi University 2. Your scholarship application documents will be reviewed by SICAS helpful and efficient staff members, and then those outstanding applicants will be recommended to Guangxi University 3. Whether or not you're able to achieve the scholarship will be determined by the relevant department of Guangxi University on the basis of your academic merits as well as your recommendation letters. 4. You are not eligible for the application of any other scholarships in case you've already been a recipient of a particular scholarship. 5. 1. Notarized certificate of applicant’s diploma or degree. Applicants need to submit proof of employment or study issued by the applicants’ current employer or school if the applicants are currently working or studying. 2. Academic transcript, in notarized Chinese or English translation. 3. Applicants’ study or research plan, either in Chinese or in English. 4. Two letters of recommendation written by persons of at least associate professors from the applicant’s alumni university in English or in Chinese for students applying for master or doctoral degree. 5. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport. 6. Physical examination record. |
