Program Description

Teaching Objective

The "1+1" international Master's program in Software Engineering aims at providing students with advanced software engineering and management skills, as well as specialized skills in two major application domains: enterprise systems and embedded systems. The program is jointly delivered by the two public universities in Central South University and a famous university abroad. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive two degrees or a joint degree signed by both universities. The international students can either join the ordinary classes taught in Chinese with Chinese students, or join separate classes taught in English.

Entry Requirements

1. Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport

2. Applicant should hold Bachelor's Degree or equivalent to a Chinese Bachelor's Degree

3. Be in good health condition and above the age of 35

Application Materials

1. Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3. Bachelor's degree diploma
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4. Transcript of undergraduate school

5. Health certificate(optional)
Photocopy of notarized foreigner physical examination record (for durations of study over 6 months)

6. Two recommendation letters
